Thank you all for your prayers.  The prayers have meant more to me than anything else.  Laura continues to need prayers for her recovering.  She is still in the hospital.  She is struggling but improving. Our Ayden is having a functional hemispherectomy on Thursday, Oct. 29th one week prior to his second birthday. We would also like prayers for our three year old daughter as this is also hard for big sis too. Please pray for my son Tanner ... he had a hemispherectomy in 2001 ... and is doing well ... but I would like prayer for his future ... he is a junior and does have some struggles ... pray for direction for him in a career.  We are thinking perhaps motivational speaking ... so pray for open doors if that is God's will! I will pray for all these children, for God to bless them and for the dream of their families of seeing they grow into fine healthy adults. I also ask for your prayers for Henrique, my godson eleven months old, who will be submitted to surgery on the 15th of October. May God help the doctors and our little boy. We thank you all for your kind prayers. Please pray for our daughter, Laura, who will be having a hemispherectomy on October 13, 2009 in Milwaukee. We just found our Ayden will have a hemispherectomy before his second birthday in November. We have tried all our other option so this is our last hope to stop his seizures. Please pray for our daughter, Kate. She is 20 months old and will be undergoing grid placement on September 17th, followed by a hemispherectomy a couple of days later. She will be at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento, CA. Please pray for God to guide the doctor's hands and for a quick and speedy recovery. Also, please pray for our son, Noah, to understand why are leaving him for two weeks. Thank you each and every one of you for your prayers. God bless you all! Please pray for Holly she is undergoing surgery and is really nervous. Holly will undergo a hemispherotomy on 09-01-2009 at St. Louis Children's Hospital. We would appreciate your prayers for her great post-operative and seizure free success. Please pray that Brenden Carter is able to have the surgery soon. The doctors at Children's Hospital, Littlerock, AR are saying that both sides of his brain are abnormal. Please pray for our baby girl, Annabelle Head. She has intractable seizures and infantile spasms. Please pray that this new medication will stop them. If not, she will have to undergo a hemispherectomy of the right side at Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital in TN. God Bless. Please pray for my only son Devin Hatfield he is having his surgery on June 12th 2009 at UCLA. He is only 13th and faced with the possibilty of never being able to talk or understand again. Thank you in advance for your prayers. Pray that Peace would continue to flood our hearts and minds. Pray that complications would be non-existant and that Levi will be pain-free.  Pray that God will give me the words to explain before and after the surgery the things Levi will want to know--no more and no less.  Pray that my other two boys will be at peace staying with their grandmother while their dad and I are gone.  Pray that God will use us as a witness for His Glory and Goodness through every detail and situation we are about to encounter.  Pray that we will focus on the big picture and not be tempted by the enemy to dwell on anything negative or fearful. My precious granddaughter, Kaylee, will undergo a hemispherectomy on June 2, 2009 - she is 1 year old and has Sturge Weber Syndrome.  If you didn't see the seizures you would think she was a normal, healthy toddler.  We have several groups praying for her and I believe in the awesome power of prayer. Thank you for yours. Mackenzie is in the process of being considered for a hemi sometime this summer.  We are terrified as a family.  She is only 8 months old and our first born.  Please pray for our doctor and our family.  We are just begining this journey. He has Tuberous Sclerosis and had tubes in his brain removed on Feb. 27th in order to help control his seizures. They didn't stop. The surgeons and doctors performed a second operation today removed his right hemisphere. He is only 7 months old. He just got out of surgery and is doing OK so far. Please pray for Dalton who is scheduled for a left hemispherectomy on March 19, 2009 at Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital in TN. We have just found out that he needs this surgery sometime in March. He will be at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Please pray for Tyler who just had a hemispherectomy in Oct 2005 at 15 months old, and on Tues, Jan 27th he was rushed to the emergency room and had his 9th shunt revision due to a complete shunt failure. Mara is going in for a second surgery to finish the job.  Two pieces of her right hemisphere were left and she is now having approx. 30 myoclonic seizures a day even with the highest dose of Keppra. Please continue to pray for Mara.  Her surgery has been changed to Feb. 26 Please continue to pray for Sarah Alward. She has been so strong and brave since her hemi 7 months ago. She has been having a few seizures that doctors think are related to the healing process but it is very upsetting to her parents and all those that love and care for her. Thank you in advance for your prayers! We have a family, who late last week, lost their house to a fire.  They are all fine.  They only got out with Mallory’s (their daughter) brace and shoes. This family is from Raymond, Mississippi , and their daughter Mallory, had surgery a few months before Jessie. Please keep this family in your prayers. Prayers are needed for Noah Jones who will be undergoing a third surgery at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD that is tentatively planned for the spring of 2009.  This will be an attempt to remove the remaining tissue in the left side of his brain that was left behind after his prior two surgeries.  Noah currently suffers from 40-80 absence seizures a day. Please pray for Nora Blackman who is scheduled to undergo a hemispherectomy at Children's Hospital Boston on 01/16/09 The Olsen family is asking for God to be flooded with prayers for Sadie Belle. This little girl has endured 2 hemispherectomies and is currently in the hospital for a shunt revision. Avery Paauwe underwent a functional hemispherotomy on September 28, 2006 at The Johns Hopkins Hospital for left hemimegalencephaly. On October 16, 2006, just two and a half weeks later, she underwent a subtotal left hemispherectomy because the seizures quickly returned following the initial proceedure. Neurosurgeon George Jallo performed both surgeries, under Gods careful direction of course.
